Services I Offer
With You Every Step of the Way
Private Evaluations/ I.E.E. Evaluations
I offer comprehensive assessments for clients of all ages, from children to adults. These assessments help to determine learning strengths (including giftedness), identify & diagnose areas of need (including Autism, ADHD, Anxiety, & Learning Disabilities) as well as determine eligibility for Special Education services and 504 plans. Assessments are also used to help clients gain appropriate accommodations for testing (SAT/ACT) and college accommodations. This includes Independent Evaluations (IEE's) requested by schools/parents. Most and/or all of the assessments can be conducted via telehealth!
Counseling & Coaching Services
For Teens and Young Adults
We all can face problems time to time-related to social relationships, making difficult decisions, and/or managing emotions. This is especially true for clients from diverse academic, social, or cultural backgrounds as well as neurodiverse clients. Counseling services are designed to help older children, teens and young adults (ages 13-30) improve overall mental health. Gen Z and Millennials, I'm here for you! Many of my clients are tweens, teens, and young adults with mild/moderate Anxiety, Depression, ADHD, and/or Autism who want help understanding their identity, managing their emotions, and learning how to deal with everything life is throwing at them currently. Coaching services are for clients with ADHD and Autism and focus on psychoeducation of diagnosis and strategies to help accept & manage symptoms and behaviors. Coaching services are available in all 50 states!
Parent Training & Support
Parent advocacy and consulting
Knowledge is power and it is important to learn more about your child’s unique needs. What is neurodiversity? How does this relate to my child's differences in learning, behavior, communication and so on? What is an IEP or 504 plan and how can either one help my child? My child has an IEP but I'm not sure I agree with the school, what can I do? These are some common questions that parents have and it's important to know the answers to each one of them. The best way parents can arm themselves is to know as much as possible about their child's strengths/ needs, and about the special education system. Parenting support & training is geared towards arming parents with knowledge and tools to help support the academic needs, mental health, and wellness of the family. You are not alone in connecting the dots to your child's education. Check out my website solely dedicated to parent advocacy: https://tatumadvocacygroup.com/
Special Educational Consulting
Special Education & General Behavior Support
As a consultant for schools, I give data-driven and effective alternatives to teachers, parents, and administrators about problems in learning and behavior. The goals of these services include: helping others understand child development and how it affects learning & behavior, development of positive behavior and academic support plans using research-based data, and strengthening relationships between educators, parents and community services.
